Off to DC, then the Middle East

Tomorrow I leave on my third USO trip this year, this time to the Middle East. Yikes! Can't wait to find out what I forget to pack...
I'm gonna try to document things over there and blog, but I won't know about internet access until I get there.
I'm not allowed to give specifics of where we're going(!), but can say that me and 8 other cartoonists will be in DC Thursday, then off to sunny Babylon (or thereabouts).
I hope my being allergic to sand doesn't become an issue.
If I can't blog from there, I'll do a full recap upon my return. Until then, wish us luck!
In case you missed it, here's what I wrote about our springtime trip to Germany.

Ed,
Thanks for coming out to humor us military types :). My family loves the caricature and is truly a great momento from my time out here! You were lucky to miss the scorching blow dryer that is the desert summer weather. Blessings to you and your own.
