Coffee Talk hits the stands!

 A member of my local chapter of the National Cartoonist Society, Tony Murphy, has spent countless hours over the last few months organizing a new free newspaper in NYC completely devoted to comics and the artists who create them.


Coffee Talk had made it to the stands, for now mainly in Brooklyn, NY.
I can't imagine the frustration Tony's had to deal with: he had to round up cartoonists, jump through i'm sure countless hoops and somehow get this thing paid for with ad space and generous donations.
Issue 3 is out now, one look at it and you'll see that Tony has a lot to be proud of.

So far, in addition to Tony's strip 'It's All About You', Coffee Talk has featured comics by the likes of Marc Bilgrey, Tony Rubino, Ali Solomon, Matthew Moss, Thomas Baehr, Stephanie Piro, Rina Piccolo, Doug Bratton and Anne Gibbons to name a few (I know I'm missing some, sorry if I forgot your name!)
