ComicCon Recap!
posted 7.28.10 at 12:00 am
Last week I flew out to San Diego to experience the sea of humanity that is San Diego Comic-Con.

The last time I had been was 1998, and this thing was overwhelming then. Now, it's apparently grown exponentially, and had it not been for a steady barrage of folks like this...

...the whole event might have been unbearable.
But alas, it was a very memorable weekend, not one I'll soon forget. Though it's nice to be back in the serenity and solitude of my little studio.
Here's some more pics from the weekend...

Kick Ass, Hit Girl, Somebody else, Captain America and Low Rent Poison Ivy.

The creature from District 9.

If you know who this girl is, you are a true nerd.
(It's Blair Butler, the comic book authority from G4)

Captain America movie!

The G4 girls. I'm the one second from the right.

The Green Hornet's car and the Green Hornet 'Booth Babes'.

I finally met David Hasselhoff! He's huge in Germany...

Promotions for Battle: Los Angeles move.

Hit Girl!

This is the suit that would be appropriate to wear to get through the crowds.

Danny Devito, Rhea Perlman, and Mybuster Adam Savage, at the Blood Factory booth.
This was a very surreal moment...

Ogre, from Revenge of the Nerds. 'A' for effort, but a fake beard would have made it awesome.
NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERDS!

If you're gonna dress up, do it right.

Ryan 'Green Lantern' Reynolds. Blurry pic, sorry ladies!

Zach Ward, aka Scut Farkus, from A Christmas Story.

It was only a matter of time before a slave Leia appeared.

Apparently this is one of the winners of America's Next Top Model.
(the one on the right, I mean)

Thor, et al.

Elizabeth Mitchell and Morena Baccarin from V.

Barbarella!
And to top it all off:

Ace and Gary, the Ambiguously Gay Duo.
That's it for now, I have lots more pictures to go through, if I find any worth posting I shall do so!

Great post man! Glad your camera survived after all. I was worried that Ace and Gary would be lost.
Good catching up with you and the Richmond, cheers!
