Blog still being worked on...

 Well, as of today, Wednesday, the some major functions of the blog aren't up and running, so for now, all I can do is write text.  For an art blog, that ain't too good!
The guys at Byte are on in, of course, building this site from the ground up, rather than using WordPress or some other program, so bear with me as they work their magic and get all the fancy-shmancy bells and whistles up and running.
We'll have artwork up here soon, goll-dang it!

For the time being, I can tell you that in the last few days I've experimenting with a new painting technique using Dr. Martin's dyes and watercolors, with varying degrees of success.  I posted a small one on Facebook yesterday.  Got a lot to learn, but learning is the fun part.

Now I'm working on a big painting of silver screen star Jean Harlow while waiting for an advertising storyboard job to come in, that should keep me busy for a day or two.

On a side note, my best bud Tom's wife, The Lovely Anna, is in town to catch some shows, so I'll be taking a few hours off tonight to go hang at legendary Sardi's in Times Square.
Never a dull moment!

See?  You CAN blog with only text on an art based site!  Ha!
