 I got some new paints the other day, and am furiously trying to figure out how to use them.  Aah, gotta love learning curves.
Here's one of the many small experiments I've churned out in the last few days.  This is a still from the movie 'The Notorious Bettie Page' with Gretchen Moll as Bettie.  


Gretchen Moll was also on a painfully short lived but brilliant show from last year, Life on Mars.  
I wasn't worried about the caricature or likeness with this one, it was only a really quick drawing so I could practice slingin' the new paints, Winsor & Newton dry watercolors.
