NCS Reuben weekend art!

This year I had the honor of creating the official artwork for this years Reubens in Las Vegas!
The awards ceremony was Saturday night, and due to limited Internet, I'm just posting this now!
Actually the price was done over a month ago, but I was instructed to keep everything under wraps until the unveiling.
There's something like 47 comic strips represented here. The caricatures are the nominees and award winners Steve McGarry (Silver T-Square, for services to the NCS), my old buddy Tom Richmond, Stan (Archie Comics) Goldberg and Brian (Pickles) Crane, and Stephan (Pearls Before Swine) Pastis. Below is my friend Tom Gammil, the MC of the awards ceremony. Tom, Brian and Stephan were the nominees for the highest achievement in cartooning, the Reuben (named for Rube Goldberg).
For those who haven't heard, I'm thrilled to announce that Tom was indeed the recipient of the Reuben award. Way to go, Tom!

Hi, I work at the Charles M. Schulz Museum and we are thinking about pniuttg up more of the fabulous artist talks we have taped. Mel Lazarus's talk is our first lecture posted on-line.
