There's a minor glitch in the Gallery, so for the time being this entire image can't be seen. In the meantime, here's the final. I'll post in progress shots tomorrow.

I understand that. This is a Girl who's photogenic self differed greatly from her screen persona, and then her personal life even more so. Nowadays, all we get is the photo shoots, that tend to flesh out the actor how the studios want them packaged. I feel Harlow's wicked, dark sense of humor (notorious in the day), for that time period, was far ahead of the studio's time; Even through cushy studio packaging, it came through in bits and pieces of her real, raw self that no studio could tame, much the same as Jim Henson's and Lucielle Ball's personas did years later.

What grabs me about this one is her eyes. They are (to me) more innocent than the rest of her persona and this drawing portray. You put forward an interesting dynamic of innocent vs. vamp.
