Official website redesign launch!

As I prepare to head off to the Reubens this weekend in DC, I'm happy to announce the launch of what is basically edsteckley.com, V 2.0.

Besides the obvious changes- namely, less clicks to get to the good stuff, I've changed the categories of artwork to better represent what it is I do with my time.  Traditional art, Digital, and the new one, Conceptual.
I've spent the better part of the last number of years working as an advertising illustrator, and it was about time my online portfolio reflected that. Frankly, I'm very humble about that sort of work, as speed and efficiency is the nature of the advertising beast, and that work is for the most part pre-production (conceptual!), and therefore not so polished, but there to convey an idea for whatever campaign it's for.
It really took me a while to become comfortable enough to actually share it with the public.  Agencies know what to look for (thank God!), and people who rep me know what to look for, but artists are artists, and they typically like to showcase printed, polished work.  Well, I like to do that, too, but concepting and planning new advertising strategies is what's been the majority of the drawing lately, and I just figured why not share some.

Anyhoo, back to the site- I hope you enjoy it and continue to come back!  It's been a long process getting this new iteration up and running, so I hope you take the time to dig around a bit.
Lots more artwork is coming, I'm just going to add to it bit by bit as the days go by.

Enjoy!
